DOORNKOP SHAFT

If this is you…
You will need: • A Trade Certificate (Section 13) • A Grade 12 Certificate (Maths and Science) • COMSOC 1&2/SAMTRAC • At least 4 years’ experience as an artisan
• Computer literacy • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • The ability to work independently and to adapt to changing conditions • A valid First Aid Certificate • A valid medical certificate of fitness for underground work

Advantageous: • A National Diploma in Safety Management • Previous experience as a Safety Officer • Knowledge of the HRMS and OSHAS:18001

You will be required to: • Perform an auditing function • Identify problem areas and facilitate problem-solving • Compile safety-related reports and safety statistics • Facilitate, lead and compile Risk Assessments • Assist with, help give training on and implement relevant safety systems
