Communication and Visibility Specialist – PDSF - Thailand – European Commission

BACKGROUND

The purpose of this contract is to provide targeted support for Thailand-EU policy dialogues in areas of strategic importance and crucial to advancing Thailand’s national development agenda. Specifically, to enhance dialogues and cooperation in the following strategic areas:

  • trade and investment;
  • higher education and science and technology - including health;
  • environment, climate change, energy and natural resources sustainable management, and;
  • good governance and human rights; besides, to enhance public awareness.

We are recruiting for a Communication and Visibility Specialist for an anticipated European Commission funded Policy Dialogue Programme in Thailand. You will ideally demonstrate:

  • University degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Marketing, Public Affairs, or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years required in communication and public relations (PR);
  • Documented communication and facilitator skills;
  • Thai and English language fluency (written and spoken).
  • Experience in Southeast Asia;
  • Familiarity with the European Union is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing communication strategy/plan and materials (e.g. press conferences, press release, case study, website, brochures, etc.) with relevant state-of-the art knowledge and skills;
  • Experience in the organisation of conferences, workshops and meetings;
