ECD Specialist, P-3, Dakar Regional Office, Senegal

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Temporary Appointee Multisectoral Early Childhood Development Specialist, P-3, in its Office in Dakar, Senegal.

Qualification:

• Advanced university degree in Public Health, International Relations, Education or equivalent is required. Training or accreditation in ECD, Education and Child Protection is preferred.

• At least five years of experience in child development related programme design and implementation.

• Experience in data analysis and dissemination, and in translation of evaluations into policy.

• Expertise and experience in early childhood related components management is a definite asset.

• Knowledge of academic institutions, international health and development organizations and partners is a definite asset.

• Good knowledge of West and Central African cultural and economic environment is an asset.

• Fluency in French and English is required; the knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese represents an additional asset.
