Anova Health Institute Finance Manager
The Anova team has led ground-breaking work in the field of HIV and AIDS over many years. Our HIV prevention and treatment efforts incorporate prevention of mother-to-child transmission, paediatrics, TB and HIV, adolescent and adult care. Anova’s work includes pioneering innovation projects in the fields of men who have sex with men (MSM), medical male circumcision (MMC) and supporting local media in covering HIV-related issues.
Anova has the following vacancy available:
Finance Manager
This role provides strategic input regarding various aspects of the business processes, focusing mainly on the financial health of Anova, and all functions related hereto. Functions mainly revolve around accurate financial reporting according to legislation, as well as Executive and Board reporting, authorisation of payments and overseeing of assests. Duties also include the maintenance of Service Level agreements, short-term insurance and, as a member of the Audit Risk Committee, implementation of recommendations. He/she will also take all Finance and Grants staff under his/her wing, focusing on their training needs and performance management. An aspect of the role will be grants funding, where he/she will be expected to manage donor funding.
Requirements: • Qualification as a CA(SA) • 5-10 years’ experience as a finance manager • Some knowledge of overseas funding • Some knowledge of the operation of an NGO. Grants funding experience would be an advantage.
