Off Trade sales representative Belgium (Limburg Region)“Implement promotional plans, volume, distribution, visibility, persuasion, price and promotion targets in the off-trade outlets by managing the relationship with off trade outlets” Context This new role has been created to grow sales in the North East of Belgium (Limburg). You are part of the Belux sales structure and report to the Field Sales Manager Belgium. The team currently consists of 5 sales representatives who drive sales in the field through various activations and customer contact. You will be partnering with (franchises of) the well known Belgian retailers such as Carrefour and Delhaize and wholesale outlets in the above mentioned region.Key brands are J&B rare, Johnnie Walker trademark, Malt whiskies, Baileys and Baileys flavours, Smirnoff, Smirnoff Black and Smirnoff Ice Local priorities are Picon, Gordon’s, Safari and Safari Senza + Ursus vodka RoleYour main responsibility is to drive sales and grow the business by focusing on local shop owners and wholesale outlets You will manage and initiate special events and promotional plans in shops while adhering to the Diageo Marketing Code. Other responsibilities will be to: · Implement promotional plans, volume, distribution, visibility, persuasion, price and promotion targets in the off-trade outlets by managing the relationship with off trade outlets · Achieves Quality – Distribution - Visibility - Persuasion - Price - Promotion objectives at outlet level by taking direct responsibility for customer relationships and leveraging contacts. Ensures world-class execution of all programmes. Respects the Diageo Marketing Code guidelines. · Increases productivity by effectively recording activity and communicating field info using the sales information tool Sales Force+. Strictly adheres to the logistics processes and recommended order patterns for free bottles and POS. · Play an active part in the responsible drinking and corporate citizenship agenda Profile You have your bachelor or master degree and a minimum of 1 year of working experience in a (field) sales role within FMCG, preferably within the drinks industry. You are trilingual (English, Dutch and French) and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in all languages. You are curious and eager to develop your market knowledge such as your understanding of trends, consumer behavior and competitors. This will support you in selling compelling stories and building fact based propositions!As a person you would describe yourself as an excellent team player and great relationship builder with an eye for commerce!
