Job Purpose:
• To coordinate all donors relations, matters and affairs.
• To design & implement Trust Fund Programmes.
Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies for resource mobilization and ensure coordination with humanitarian agencies.
• Initiate, review and supervise implementation of plans/programs and budget for the Trust Fund Projects and at the same time devise measures that contribute to improved operational performance of the fund.
• Follow up, monitor, evaluate, report and recommend on donation initiatives to maximise the Trust Fund Departments revenues and resources.
• Conduct fundraising activities and follow-up on pledges made, and catalyze new pledges,
• Develop strong partnership with other donors for leverage and greater impact.
• Collect, analyse, process and present financial data to facilitate, simplify and smooth the donating process and transactions.
• Provide advice and guidance, both orally and in writing, to potential donors to motivate an assist them in the donation process.
• Establish, maintain and develop a network of relationships within Trust Fund stakeholders particularly the donors.
• Act as a first point of contact for all incoming enquiries from donors, researching and responding appropriately so those donors receive a professional service.
• Manage the relationship with the donors countries and entities contributing to the resources of the Trust Funds.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports on periodic bases to keep the seniors in the Trust Fund Department abreast of the latest development in the donation area.
Qualification & Experience:
• A university degree (Master is preferred) in Business Administration, Finance accounting or other relevant field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required; fluency in French would be an asset.
Skills & Competencies:
• Good knowledge in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Atlas, etc.).
