TANESCO Senior Estate Officer

Reporting Office:Manager Estate Office

Reports To:Principal Estate Management officer

Start Date:One month after the initial advertisement.

Position Objective

Responsible for reporting, operation, controlling, maintaining, testing, trouble shooting, installing and repairing electrical control systems and equipments in senior Management Project Department.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Specifically you will be responsible for ensuring that you:

To supervise Maintenance including painting of the office building and residential staff quarter

Maintenance of cleanliness, clean and green environment with necessary horticulture works and maintaining the same

To prepare and keep record of list of staff members allocated house and list of vacant houses and their status awaiting staff to be allocated.

To supervise Maintenance of all electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment pertaining to the office and maintaining the inventory of the same

To supervise implementation of all Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMes) pertaining for cleaning services, garbage and refuse collections, waste water dislodge and gardening.

Under the supervision of the Principal Estate Management Officer to contribute to the development of local community in partnership with other public and private agencies, relevant local groups and organization with particular regard to Estate Services.

As member of the Estate Team, to contribute to the development of policies and practices relating to the work of the Area Team

To liaise with others agencies and contractors to ensure they are providing the service required byTANESCO.

All duties and responsibilities should carry out in accordance with TANESCO policy procedure.

Under the supervision of the Principal Estate Management Officer to carry out and prepare Valuation reports of building for different company use.

From time to time, to carry out any other duties and responsibilities, he might be assigned.

Minimum Requirement

Education: Holder of the Advance Diploma or Bsc. Land management and Valuation from a reputable and recognized college by Tanzania Commission.

Experience:

At least 3 (three) years experience in reputable Estate/

Property Management Company.

Remuneration

An attractive compensation package base on performance and consummate with the responsibility will apply to the successful candidates.

All positions terms of employment are performance based fixed contract.
