Corporate Communications Internship


We have a fantastic internship opportunity in our Corporate Communications Team. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is passionate about conversation. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

Start date: August 2013
Internship Length: 3 months
Location: From 16 September Woking, Surrey GU7 1XR, (Initially Godalming)
Remuneration: This is an unpaid internship, only reasonable, allowable expense will be reimbursed.

WWF’s Corporate Partnerships team’s purpose is to build successful partnerships with companies which support WWF’s mission to safeguard the natural world. Partnerships will contribute to one or more of the following objectives:
 
·         To drive transformational change in business in support of our overall portfolio of work
-      To generate income for our conservation programmes and change work.
-      
To raise the profile of our brand and engagement in our work
WHAT’S THE PURPOSE OF THE INTERNSHIP?
·         13 weeks initially in Godalming and then relocating to Woking as part of our office move in September
·         Working in the corporate partnerships team supporting a cross section of communications activities
·         Suitable for someone interested in marketing, digital communications, social media, and public relations
·         Working with corporate partnerships team members and other teams across WWF to champion communication opportunities with consumer and business audiences
·         Help develop content and ideas that support and inspire partners and external audiences

WHAT SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ARE REQUIRED?
·         Ideally with degree level qualification or equivalent comms knowledge
·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
·         Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and to tight deadlines
·         Enthusiastic and keen to learn quickly
·         A good understanding of WWF’s mission and goals
