Coordinator, Strategic Partnerships

The Coordinator, Strategic Partnerships is a member of the Brand Management and Interactive Communications team, working under the Executive Vice President of Communications, Advocacy and Development and managed by the Manager, Strategic Partnerships. As a member of the Brand Management and Interactive Communications team, the Coordinator, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for supporting and executing strategic initiatives that elevate the Foundation’s brand, increase awareness of EGPAF’s global mission, and assist with strategic partnerships and fundraising efforts. Strategic Partnerships are defined as external individual and organization relationships which have goals to both generate awareness and/of funds for EGPAF’s work. Core responsibilities will include executing the EGPAF Ambassador spokesperson program and providing support to unrestricted fundraising efforts of the Brand Management and Interactive Communication team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise successful international spokesperson program, creating, implementing, and managing opportunities for of advocates and communicators to represent the Foundation.
  • Build and shape Ambassador program into well-rounded, professional group, representative of the Foundation’s history, current and future work, and mission.
  • Serve as internal contact for requests for Ambassadors’ involvement in speaking, media, and event opportunities.
  • Prepare Ambassadors and Foundation spokespeople for upcoming activities and events, creating memos, overseeing travel plans, and supporting overall outcome of their involvement.
  • Organize, track, and quantify outputs of Ambassadors program.
  • Publicize Ambassador program to internal and external audiences.
  • Work with Brand Management and Interactive Communications team on priority fundraising efforts.  Responsibilities will include creating research profiles on corporations, foundations and organizations most likely to support the Foundation, including new and existing prospects. Research, develop and support preparation of proposals.
  • Provide project support to Manager, Strategic Partnerships and Director, Brand Management and Interactive Communications as needed

Required Qualifications
    
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment; as well as interact and communicate with individuals of all levels (internally and externally). Familiarity with fundraising proposal writing is a plus
  • Ability to take initiative; has strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Proofreading and copyediting skills are required.
  • Creative and skilled problem solver.
  • Analytical and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize projects based on changing workloads, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of research sources and ability to distill large amounts of information for senior executives.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work together on a team with multiple areas of responsibility in an energetic and fun environment.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to create and maintain collaborative working relationships with others.
