Digital Marketing Manager

Leading risk analysis and mapping company Maplecroft is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager with excellent knowledge of global affairs and a flair for B2B communications.
With at least 4 years’ experience of working in digital marketing, candidates will be expected to develop and coordinate Maplecroft’s B2B communications output and align it with the core business objectives across the full range of channels.
Working cross functionally with internal and external teams, responsibilities will encompass the design and delivery of online content and promotions; direct communications through email campaigns; targeted online campaigns, encompassing social media channels; and working on the continual improvement of the company’s website.
Broadly, your responsibilities will include:
  • Management of retention, cross-sell and up-sell marketing programmes to prospective clients and customer base to support continued business success and growth
  • Development and delivery of regular, engaging and effective B2B communications activities through a range of channels – email, website, social media, blogs, newsletters
  • Working with key stakeholders across the business to identify external events, conferences and other areas of B2B engagement
  • Utilising and developing knowledge of key business sectors and their international activities to identify sales opportunities
  • Working closely with software, web design and graphic design teams to produce highly engaging visual content across a range of media
  • Post-campaign analysis and reporting will be key elements of the role – through the utilisation of prospect and customer databases
Requirements:
  • Extensive digital marketing and B2B communications experience
  • Ability to translate and communicate complex information into engaging copy for prospective and existing clients
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify business opportunities and develop effective, targeted campaigns
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills - responds well to pressure
  • High level of written communication, with meticulous attention to detail and highly articulate
  • Educated to degree level and able to demonstrate proven experience in direct and digital marketing within a B2B / SME environment
  • Web savvy, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal technical and design teams
  • Experience of developing and building a corporate social media profile
  • Previous experience within financial services or professional services could be beneficial
