Head of Sales

Maplecroft is looking for a Head of Sales to expand its growing international client base, with focus on the extractive, telecommunications and agro-commodities sectors.
Broadly, your responsibilities will include:
  • Achieving income target (by retaining business and identifying new revenue opportunities / sales)
  • Pitching to Senior C-Level + managers and directors
  • Planning and implementing key account sales programmes – incl. targeted marketing campaigns
  • Client management / relationships (inclusive of managing and maintaining records via CRM system)
  • Broad responsibility for leading a team of sales executives
Key requirements:
  • A consultative and intelligent approach to business development
  • Ability to communicate complex production information with prospective and existing clients
  • Results driven, respond well to pressure, with the ability to enthuse those you work alongside
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High level of written communication, with meticulous attention to detail and highly articulate
  • Previous evidence of sales experience
  • Outstanding MS Office skills, particularly Excel
First class negotiation skills are a must, as is the ability to communicate complex product information with prospective and existing clients. A firm grasp of international affairs in relation to the business community is desirable.
Applicants should be highly literate, with advanced IT skills, demonstrable proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite and be familiar with CRM systems.
The role is based in Maplecroft's Bath offices.
