Job Summary

​Cardno is seeking a Business Support Manager to play an integral role in coordinating the operational business management functions of our Civil Infrastructure and Delivery Team. Located in St Leonards, this role will report directly to the Business Unit Manager and will be responsible for ensuring business outcomes are achieved for a team of 40 plus employees. Key Responsibilities

  • ​Provide a high level of administrative customer service to the team of 40 to ensure business outcomes are achieved and the overall performance of the business unit is improved through increased efficiencies.
  • Operational management of Health Safety and Environment, to ensure that the business unit is following all operational requirements under Cardno’s Zero Harm Policy.
  • Management and maintenance of the business units Quality Management System to ensure that all working documentation is maintained and kept up to date.
  • Liaison with the ANZ Human Resources team to ensure staffing needs are met by the business unit including, recruitment, career development reviews and training and development for employees.
  • Overall financial management and reporting on monthly financial statistics to Cardno’s head office.
  • Liaison with the ANZ Marketing team to ensure all marketing collateral for the business unit is maintained and kept up to date.

Other Requirements

  • ​A Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration.
  • Five to ten years of experience in an office management / heavy administration role responsible for a team and overall business operations. 
  • Ability to think abstractly to achieve the required business outcomes within efficient timeframes to ensure an effective level of service is provided to employees within the team.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to also work in insolation when required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Driven by positive outcomes.
