HR assistant
You will deal with the administration of the day-to-day operations of various Human Resources activities within UTZ. Next to the administration, you will pro-actively inform and support staff members and the HR manager in HR matters. You enjoy setting up and maintaining administrative data systems and are able to combine this concentrated work with providing high level service to colleagues. These activities take place in a very dynamic, international and fast growing organization, which requires a flexible attitude and the capacity to prioritize.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administrative processes like salary administration and personnel administration
  • Administrative and induction process of new employees
  • Absence records incl. ‘Wet verbetering poortwachter’
  • Contribute to and build-up of HR processes and procedures
  • Advice and guidance of all staff regarding HR policies and processes
  • International labor issues like 30% rule, highly skilled migrant application etc.
  • Distribution of HR imformation (on intranet page)
The HR assistant supports the HR manager and reports to the Manager Finance & HR.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor (HBO) degree in HR administration and management
  • Proven affinity with an administrative/support role in HR environment and HR systems
  • Knowledge of Dutch employment law
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (written and verbal)
  • Affinity with figures and producing management reports
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, keen attention to details and ability to work under pressure
  • Service oriented attitude, pro-active, problem-solving skills and an accurate work mentality
  • Intermediate level in using Word and Excel
  • Preferably work experience (or internship) in an international organization

Employment is based upon a minimum of 4 days a week. The position is based in Amsterdam. We can only consider candidates who have a work & residency permit for the Netherlands/EU. Please note that we will check your references after the last interview.
