Job Summary

​Cardno Hard and Forester are seeking an enthusiastic second or third year student to join the team as an Undergraduate Surveyor in our paid 12 week Undergraduate Program. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to gain insightful knowledge into the Surveying industry within a renowned Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy. The position will be based in our Rockdale office and will run from late November through to mid-February.

Key Responsibilities

• ​Field work across a range of disciplines
• Assist senior surveyors on site and within the office on a wide variety of surveying tasks
• Use of Robotic Total Stations, GPS and hi-definition scanning
• Exposure to AutoCAD, CivilCAD,12D and ESRI

Other Requirements

• ​Currently in the second or third year of completing a Bachelor of Surveying
• Able to demonstrate creativity, initiative, and judgment in anticipating and solving design challenges
• Willingness to learn and develop skills within the Surveying industry
• Ability to work to deadlines and complete allocated tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
