Job Summary

​Cardno is currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator to provide support to the ANZ HR team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate who is seeking to develop their skills in a generalist human resources role within a growing, global organisation.
Reporting directly to the Senior HR Advisor you will be integral in assisting a Sydney based team of three in providing a high level of HR support to the NSW/ACT Division which has over 500 employees. The position is based in Cardno’s St Leonards office in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • ​Co-ordination of monthly HR reports
  • Management and preparation of HR documentation including but not limited to employment contracts for new employees
  • Assist with the on boarding process for new employees, including sending and receiving new employee documentation to ensure new staff are set up appropriately
  • End to end recruitment including preparing advertisements, screening CV’s, scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks 
  • Assisting with the coordination of Graduate and Undergraduate programs as well as yearly university careers fairs
  • Assisting with the coordination of training and development programs throughout the Division
  • Management of Divisional training registers and personnel files to ensure all Divisional documentation is up to date and maintained to a high standard
  • General ad hoc Human Resources administration duties

Other Requirements

  • ​Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
  • Minimum of one year’s relevant experience ideally within a large, corporate environment
  • An ability to prioritise your work and be flexible to adapt to multiple competing demands
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A can do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and develop a career in Human Resources
  • Prior experience in a recruitment or resourcing position would be beneficial but not essential 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Proven initiative to complete tasks to a high quality standard
