Job Summary

​Cardno TEC is currently recruiting for a Document Production Manager in our Honolulu, HI location.  The Document Production Manager position supports Project Managers on technical editing by providing document review, editing, production, and distribution. Amount of working hours may vary based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

​Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
  • Assist in proposal writing and development
  • Assist in drafting Environmental Impact Statements
  • Review technical reports and written deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and grammatical and syntactical correctness
  • Oversee printing and distribution of deliverables
  • Refine formatting and perform desktop publishing as required
  • Perform contract spreadsheet management
  • Develop and maintain administrative records for projects
  • Ability to develop new innovative procedures/techniques, as necessary
  • Must have the ability to work under and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work with several Project Managers at any given time

Other Requirements

​Minimum Qualifications Required:
  • Associates or Bachelors degree and minimum 5 years of editorial experience; or minimum 10 of years editorial/production experience
  • Proficient in Word and Excel, Project, Access, and Acrobat
  • General familiarity with environmental laws and regulations
  • General familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) terminology
  • Must have an ability to identify errors in documents and make corrections as necessary
Training and Experience:
  • Experience laying out publications
  • Experience in proposal writing
  • Experience in performing multiple tasks with changing priorities is required
  • DoD experience is desirable
