Performance & Accountability Adviser

The British Red Cross is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, with proven overseas experience in improving humanitarian (or development) accountability and programme management standards, to join our International Division in the capacity of Performance and Accountability (P&A) Adviser.
The P&A Adviser will lead initiatives and provide advisory support to systematically strengthen the PMER (Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting), accountability and learning practices across our international programmes.
The Adviser will provide advice in building PMER capacity, promote accountability to beneficiaries, and provide advice to programmes, together with strengthening BRC’s project cycle management methodology. He/she will ensure that high quality support is given to programmes through field deployments and supporting / training Divisional staff.
The Adviser will be located in the P&A Department (UK Office, London), reporting to the Head of Department. The role is expected to include frequent overseas travel.
