International IT Support Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity to join the International IT Team to help deliver an exciting new technology strategy within VSO. The role of IIT Support Analyst will be working closely with the IIT Service Desk, Infrastructure and Solution Delivery teams to ensure that we are able to deliver and maintain a quality IT service worldwide.
The IIT Support Analyst provides day-to-day consultation, training, instruction, trouble-shooting, problem-solving to computer users for hardware, software, network and related computer systems and peripheral devices. The position ensures the effective operation of all systems; installs and configures systems; recommends hardware and software acquisitions and upgrades. Additional tasks include Active Directory administration, Audio/Video technology support and using a Service Management System.
The ideal candidate would have excellent IT technical and Customer Care skills (ideally from within a technology based department) along with a passion for the benefits of Information Technology. We would be particularly interested in applicants with awareness and good understanding of IT infrastructure and that have substantial working experience of dealing with technical issues, problem resolutions and third parties. Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
The ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and succinctly to non-experts, experience of supporting national and international offices and infrastructure, excellent documentation skills and the ability to write for non-technical staff would also be beneficial.
