The role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the corporate performance team.
The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to work with teams across VSO and, in doing so, help to drive improvements and increase understanding of VSO’s internal and external performance.

The role will involve working on projects across VSO, including the staff survey, the Quarterly Business Review, the annual report, communication of various initiatives, and a number of ad hoc projects.
The applicant
Influencing & team-working skills
The successful applicant will have the ability to influence senior managers and other key stakeholders. They will need to be able to work effectively within a matrix structure using a range of skills e.g negotiation, communication, diplomacy and tact.
High level problem solving
The successful applicant will have excellent problem-solving skills and in addition will have the ability to analyse and synthesise large amounts of complex information and be able to make connections and see opportunities across areas of VSO’s work.
Project Management
They must also have the proven ability to plan, implement and review projects. With previous experience of working to strict deadlines they must also be able to excel under pressure and be self motivated.
Decision making
With sound judgement and confidence, they will be required to take independent action; the individual will have a high degree of tenacity and initiative combined with high levels of discretion and diplomacy.
