    GE Capital, Americas has a variety of positions in Customer Care, Portfolios Services and Collections in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, that require fluency in English and Spanish. We provide equipment leasing, financing and other services to businesses in the middle market across the U.S. The positions support operating processes, transactions or account resolution. They service requests and ensure timely, accurate, compliant and complete reconciliation or resolution of accounts.
    Our representatives play an instrumental role in creating a positive customer experience by responding to inquiries and providing solutions to our commercial customer base. You will be delivering world-class service while addressing the needs of our commercial customers through inbound and/or outbound calls or requests. This is an exciting opportunity for highly dependable and motivated associates who enjoy the challenge of customer service and a positive work environment.

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of related customer service, collections, leasing or financial services work experience or equivalent military experience 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or comparable software application 
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) 
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field 
  • Experience in a financial services, banking or accounting environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Attention to detail; accurate and well organized 
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and mathematical skills, including the ability to research customer matters completely, accurately and timely 
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers (both internal and external) to resolve issues 
  • Ability to handle multiple task simultaneously and continually meet deadlines 
  • Professional phone manner; ability to listen and probe to determine root causes and resolve issues quickly
  • YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT.
