Christian Aid is now looking to recruit an innovative and dynamic Programme Finance Officer to support our humanitarian response in the Philippines and work in South East Asia.
Christian Aid is working together with our partners in the Philippines responding to the typhoon Haiyan. Our programme includes response, rehabilitation and disaster risk reduction activities funded by a diverse portfolio of donors.
Christian Aid is seeking a motivated Programme Finance Officer to join its Philippines team to assist in its response to typhoon Haiyan. The Programme Finance Officer will be responsible for working with partner organisations to assist them in programme financial management. The role will manage aspects of Christian Aid's financial reporting, budgeting, auditing and compliance that relate to partner organisations, in line with Christian Aid’s procedures and policies. The successful candidate will also support local partner organisations in financial capacity building through training and support.
Candidates need to have a specialised financial knowledge to degree level, with knowledge of the Philippines financial standards and legal framework; experience of writing and reviewing financial reports; experience of creating and monitoring budgets and working with compliance regulations and considerable experience in delivering financial training using different methodologies.
