The Wire and Heating Technology product area is specialized in heating alloys, elements, modules and systems for industrial heating and high temperature applications. Wire and Heating Technology also leads the world within the fields of specialized welding, medical wires and profiles made of advanced alloys and of stainless special steels. Primary markets are the semicon and solar industries, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical industries, power electronics and many other branches of industry in which high level requirements are essential as concerns high temperatures, corrosion and mechanical characteristics, as well as reliability.

The new organizational structure for PA Wire and Heating Technology has been launched and we are now looking for a Planning specialist for Sales and Capacity. Location for this position is flexible.

Key performance areas

As Planner for Sales and Capacity you and the team will be responsible for planning and inventory control for assigned production units. Your primary duties will include facilitating in monthly sales and capacity meetings together with sales, marketing and production. You will follow-up and take actions on deviations for decided KPI's.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Increasing the company´s level of knowledge in supply chain
• Creating follow-up information and reports to facilitate your own and others' decision making
• Participating in/leading various projects/initiatives
• Working with Demand and Capacity planning

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a degree in Logistic or the equivalent knowledge, as well as experience in production planning and materials and inventory control. Good knowledge in MS Office and good communication skills in English, both written and verbal are a prerequisite for this role. Experience of supply issues within Sandvik is advantageous, as is knowledge of 6Sigma, VSM, MIFA, LEAN, Movex, advanced planning systems, forecasting and MRP.

To be successful in this position you will need to haveexcellent logistics knowledge and a strong will to get the job done with good results. It is also important that you are able to cooperate, communicate and build a network. You can work independently but are also a good team playerand you have strong analytical skills. You like to work in a structured way in line with SMT Business System. The ideal candidate will have an open mind, welcomes challenges and adds joy and energy in the groups you work in.
