Channel Account Manager Displays Printers and Peripherals
Responsibilities:
Sells Dell’s full SnP product portfolio (peripherals, displays, imaging) to new and existing customers in specified segments in assigned territories.
- Sells products and/or services to channel partners in assigned geographic territory
- Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-industry, or accounts.
- Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-related activities in the role as key client contact.
- Maintains current customer base, along with identifying and converting potential new customers.
- Conducts full-line selling to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities.
- Viewed as a trusted business advisor to the customer and uses in-depth knowledge of Dell’s technology, products and services to help customers formulate strategy and direction.
- Utilizes strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative business solutions.
- Analyzes multiple market factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommends appropriate solution.
- Engages cross-functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/ meet customer needs.
- Effectively balances demands from multiple stakeholders.
- Effectively balances short term and long term priorities.
- Develops and implements account plans that drive the attainment of critical business objectives.
- Involved in contract negotiation and possesses strong financial/business and pricing knowledge.
- Developing and conducting sales and marketing plans per partner and per LOB to meet sales and margin targets as well as launching new businesses
- Fully responsible for the sales results of S&P products in assigned territory
Requirements:
- 6+ years relevant experience, sales experience in monitor/printer business and market knowledge of assigned territory are essential
- High level verbal and written communication skills. (English)
- Strong organizational and presentation skills.
- Good PC Hardware knowledge is preferred
- Technical affinity
