The College of Business comprises of 6 Schools delivering a broad range of programs in Business, at Traineeship, Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, Masters and PhD levels. RMIT Business programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Malaysia, as well as through Open Universities Australia (OUA).
Based within the College of Business and reporting to the Senior Manager, Research Development, we are currently seeking an Ethics Coordinator who will be responsible for key administrative and advisory functions in the process for providing ethics clearance for research projects within the College. This position works closely with the Chair of the College Human Ethics Advisory Network (B-CHEAN). The role also provides advice to and participates in implementing quality assurance processes and systems.
The Key accountabilities for this role will involve managing the ethics application review process, managing the documentation and communication of Business College ethics information, contributing to the College research strategic direction setting and process improvement as well as contributing to the delivery of a client centred service culture.
To ensure your success in this role you will have proven experience understanding and application of ethics policies as they apply in a tertiary environment, ability to work in support roles in a customer focused environment, highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to organise and prioritise.
