As an integral part of the Global Risk Analytics & Reporting team, you will work with great people, make a business impact, develop new ideas, and learn new tools and approaches. .
  • Develop, implement and manage holistic strategies for modeling (design, development, validation, calibration, documentation, approval, implementation, monitoring and reporting 
  • Conduct analytics to validate the performance of existing quantitative risk models, recommend changes, and lead gap closing projects 
  • Produce management level dashboards, ad hoc reporting and analysis 
  • Manage model supporting data warehouses in terms of accuracy and completeness; shape data and process structures from System of Record to Data warehouse to ensure accuracy and precision of data used for modeling, reporting and analysis. Manage model inventory reporting for senior management and regulators 
  • Drive standardization of processes that ensure timely generation and retrieval of reporting and risk analytics data, including support of model management framework. Serve as overall project management resource responsible for ensuring adequate quantitative model coverage for all [Insert Business Segment here] exposure 
  • Incorporate operational definitions and conceptual system designs to create algorithms that meet business reporting and analytics needs 
  • Create the foundation for more sophisticated approaches to modeling and advanced analytics where beneficial 
  • Provide independent review and validation of statistical risk models 
  • Report on model performance and support regulatory communication on model governance 
  • Develop new techniques & tools for model performance assessment 
  • Provide ad hoc support business unit statistical modeling teams. 
  • Coordinate Policy or Process Training around control testing and mitigation with platforms and risk COE’s
  • Basic Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Business or related analytical field. 
  • Prior work experience in Finance, Capital Markets or Treasury. 
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in Risk Analysis roles for US federally regulated financial institutions.
  • Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches. 
  • Fluent in at least one statistical language such as R, SAS, Matlab, or S+. 
  • Experience within Banking and Financial services industry, particularly commercial or consumer financing divisions. 
  • Experience in risk analytics – Model Development, Model Validation, Model Governance, Stress Testing, etc. 
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner. 
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating at all levels across the business. 
  • Proven project management and coordination skills. 
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with multiple stakeholders.
