We have an exciting opportunity within the International Communications team as a digital and social media coordinator. |
Role overview
| You’ll be responsible for editing and uploading copy to our websites as well as working with colleagues from around the world in search of content and innovative ways to improve the websites. Your skills will also deliver VSO’s international social media strategy, training and supporting colleagues to increase VSO’s social media presence. The digital and social media coordinator will work closely with the senior web editor and the international media manager to develop digital campaigns. |
Skills, qualifications and experience required
| You’ll have strong written and oral communication skills and more than two year’s experience of managing social platforms and online content. You’ll have experience of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels. You’ll have the ability to generate exciting and engaging copy and the ability to edit copy supplied from third parties in a way that works for the web. With experience of running successful social media campaigns, you’ll understand how social media works for charities, how to measure its success and analyse our stakeholder engagement. Experience of working in an international environment would be a real advantage. |
