About Your Job:
In this role you will be responsible for supervising the cargo ramp operations at station thorough close coordination with the contracted GHA and GSA. You will supervise the Weight & Balance activities at the station.

You will assist the Duty Officer with oversight of local GHA & GSA to ensure strict adherence to guidelines, liaison with the QR Crew, managing of allocation and bookings and maintain the freighter on time performance. In absence of the Duty officer, you will be a point of contact for local government authority, and act as a central point of contact point between Qatar Airways Security Department, GHA and GSA. You will ensure the GHA performs necessary post flight functions, including proper manifesting, FFM and post flight reports for GSA. You will have to provide assistance with service cargo , COMAT, catering , aircraft spares etc. You will supervise and audit cargo build up to ensure the maximized utilization of pallets and containers. You would also be coordinating cargo irregularities such as missing cargo, documents etc.

About You:
You must have completed high school and have a good command of the English language.  You should have a minimum 2 years of work experience in the airfreight industry, preferably experience in the handling of Cargo freighter operations.  You should have Air Cargo supervision skills, done a Ramp handling course, Basic Rating and DGR experience is also required as well as detailed knowledge on the current TASA regulations, on IATA Cargo handling, IATA Cargo service manual,

You will be computer literate and familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel Power Point and Access). Experience in managing databases in Oracle would be an added advantage. Communication skills  and a good command in English is essential. Customer service and Negotiation skills are also required.
