Web Software Developer

People 4 Earth is a young and innovative organization, dedicated to making food supply chains more transparent. To this purpose we built AgriPlace.org an online cooperative platform for collecting, sharing and benchmarking data on sustainability practices, provided by and serving supply chain actors, governmental agencies and standard setting organizations. Farmers, producer organizations, processors, and retailers etc. fill in assessments and share their results with business partners. Thus AgriPlace provides new insights, leading to improved sustainability practices and transparency in global supply chains. The platform’s user friendliness and simplicity are essential to engaging farmers and other users. Together with our partners we develop AgriPlace as a cooperative open source platform that is community owned and community driven.
