Introduction
SC Mobile Crushers & Screens Limited is currently looking for an Operative Buyer.
The Role
The role supports the production department at all times to ensure continuity and efficiency within the production cycle. Adhering to Sandvik’s purchasing policy you will ensure best value and terms when purchasing on behalf of the Company and identifying and remedying potential supply issues before any impact on production. The Operative Buyer is a key member of the Operations team.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will:
  • Have third level qualification or previous relevant experience
  • Be proficient in Microsoft applications or equivalent
  • Be able to work flexibly to meet demanding deadlines
  • Possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have strong planning and organisational skills
Also desirable, but not essential would be:
  • A working knowledge of Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) systems and 5S Lean Principles would be beneficial.
  • Previous relevant experience in a mobile crushing or screening industry.
