Keeping Children Safe was established in 2001 by some of the leading humanitarian relief and development charities in response to the growing realisation that children were being abused by aid and development workers in emergency camps in West Africa. It represents a commitment by those working in development and relief to protect children worldwide by developing and promoting a set of robust and comprehensive safeguarding standards that all organisations can and should follow. As a result of our services and through our network of members in over 120 countries, millions of children worldwide are now better protected.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial management skills with demonstrable experience in a similar international role. A positive, solution-focused approach to work and a commitment to the vision, aims and approach of the organisation will be vital.
