International Face to Face Fundraising Manager

The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an International Face-to-Face Fundraising (F2F) Manager to join an organisation with ambitious goals for children and a clear strategic plan. While advertised as a London location we are very flexible on the base location - you could be based anywhere around the globe (in an existing Save the Children office or be home-based).
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious high performing fundraiser with significant F2F fundraising experience, to join our international Member Growth team; to add to their expertise, and support our 29 Members.
In this role you will:
  • Drive the strategic development of our F2F fundraising strategy
  • Provide direct technical support to help maximize results and ensure income targets are met
  • Ensure skill sharing and knowledge management: through the establishment of clear KPIs, and closer linkages and dialogue between our members to raise the standard of F2F fundraising expertise across Save the Children.
To be suited to this opportunity you will bring:
  • Significant experience of managing and developing large scale regular donor programmes and all aspects of F2F donor acquisition
  • A proven track record of delivering successful F2F programmes, and practical experience of managing F2F teams
  • Experience within both agency and in-house models, including telemarketing for donor value optimization is preferred
  • Proven project management skills and demonstrable experience with financial analysis / KPIs are essential.
On a personal level you'll be a self-starter, an assertive and persuasive negotiator who is able to articulate the work of Save the Children with passion. You'll also have the ability to both lead and work in teams, able to work in a fast moving environment and be respectful of diversity. You will also be willing to undertake international travel for up to 25%.
The role offers a competitive package in the context of the sector.
The organisation
We employ approximately 17,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 60 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and protection. We also campaign and advocate at the highest levels to realise children's rights and ensure their voices are heard.
We are working towards 3 breakthroughs in how the world treats children by 2030:
  • No child dies from preventable causes before their 5th birthday
  • All children learn from a quality basic education
  • Violence against children is no longer tolerated
