Working with IT for Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, we have a responsibility to add value to the business by providing effective and sustainable IT solutions, and we are accountable for ensuring that IT operations at the production site in Svedala are delivered efficiently. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for an IT Site Operations Manager to join us. We offer you an exciting role in an international and diverse environment, where you have the opportunity to learn, develop and grow your IT experience in close interaction with our production.
Job Summary
As an IT Site Operations Manager you have the overall responsibility for our local IT operations at Production Site Svedala, and together with one colleague, you ensure the performance of production IT, technical solutions and services to increase quality and improve our ability to adapt to various business needs. You are the main contact and coordinator for central initiatives and local IT projects, and you safeguard the governance of our models, frameworks and concepts. Working in close collaboration with our production and with Sandvik Group IT is a vital part of your assignment, and you engage in proactively identifying continuous improvements within our operations. Additionally, you also conduct IT risk analysis connected to our production and escalate necessary deviations and reports to centralized functions, as well as to IBM.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT, or who has gained equivalent knowledge through previous work experience. You have at least five years’ experience from working with IT infrastructure, leading IT projects, conducting financial forecasts and following up on budgets, and you are used to taking full ownership of systems and SLAs. Experience from IT operations in a production environment is a highly valued asset, as is a broad knowledge of M3, QlikView and other BI-tools. As we act on the global stage, your skills in Swedish and English are excellent, both verbally and in writing.

An outgoing personality, great communication and networking skills and the ability to cooperate at all levels of the organization are necessities for success in this position.
