ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER MOMBASA

On behalf of our client Fairdeal Group of Companies based in Mombasa we would like to tap the talent of a highly efficient Assistant Marketing Manager. The candidate should have the following;

Employment Standards
Education;
College diploma required. Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred.
Experience:
At least 3 years in marketing management role within a chain of companies dealing with construction/hardware and glass related business. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program.
Required Skills:
Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with directors and staff at all levels in the organization. Polished presentation and interpersonal skills. Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
Special Skills:
Background in chain of companies with diverse backgrounds marketing and knowledge of advanced marketing Systems a plus.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Assist in design, implementation, and facilitation of annual marketing plan for the group of companies.
-Support and facilitate development and implementation of section business/marketing plans.
-Assist in planning and administration of the group of companies Marketing Operations budget; support development of regional marketing budgets.
-Assist in Organization and implementation of client relations including:
• client satisfaction surveys
• client development activities
• client skills training
• special events
-Supervise groups involved in marketing process including soliciting business from desirable prospective clients and writing proposals for new business; participate in planning and presentation sessions, when assigned.
- Assisting other marketers in strategic planning for client presentations,etc.
-Oversee corporate communications and related activities.
-Assist in development and administration of marketing database which includes client and prospect information, mailing list applications, access to financial reports, etc.
-Assist with and support firm’s involvement in various legal networks including coordinating business development and marketing activities via these relationships.
-Help in Designing and planning quarterly marketing training seminars for the group of companies.
-Oversee firm’s electronic marketing efforts including supervision of Web site and its maintenance.
-Assist in Supervision of the entire marketing team across the group.
-Assist in directing the groups of companies overall marketing and strategic planning programs.
