Machining Technology Group

You will work with a research team to conduct research projects in developing advanced machining technologies. You will undertake applied research and industrial project activities and expected to play a leadership role.

Requirements:

• Graduates with a good PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on machining related discipline
• Experience and research activities in one or more of the following areas is essential:
  • Abrasive processes: grinding, mass surface finishing and polishing
  • Deep hole drilli
• Knowledgeable in resolving a broad range of machining related issues in the manufacturing industry
• Project leadership, innovative initiatives, independent, responsible work attitude and a sense of urgency
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Good publication record
• Good communication skills with strong teamwork track record

You must be innovative, creative, energetic and highly motivated, enjoy seeking out challenges and striving for excellence.

Salary: £27,000 to £63,000 per annum. Eligible candidate will be accorded benefits such as housing subsidy, re-location assistance, home trip and comprehensive life and medical insurance, etc. The level of appointment and remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
