Requirements
: • Appropriate recognised 3-year tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resource Management and Development • 3 years’ relevant experience in a Human Resource environment • Solid understanding of Head Office and campuses/sites interlink (multi-site arrangement) • Sound understanding of FET College policy, legislative framework, systems, processes and procedures • Supervisory skills • Valid driver’s licence • Ability to work independently in a team set-up, under pressure.

Duties: • Interact with individuals, collectives, college sites and GDE/DHET on Human Resource and Development-related matters • Plan, organise, co-ordinate and control the processes of records • Manage Human Resources information systems • Manage and co-ordinate recruitment processes, payroll, skills development, industrial relation processes, leave process and other personnel-related tasks • Co-ordinate and compile reports to both internal and external stakeholders • Assess and recommend training and development needs of staff in the Human Resources unit, including performance appraisals.
