Events and Partnerships Assistant ResPublica
Leading think tank ResPublica is recruiting for a well organised and enthusiastic Events and Partnerships Assistant to support business network developing activities and event organisation.
Applicants should have outstanding communication and research skills, and a good understanding of current affairs and UK policy.
Past experience or interest in marketing, foundations, PR, event organisation or campaign management would be a plus. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging environment and be integral to the ongoing expansion of a high profile and increasingly influential organisation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Fundraising research and outward facing activity with donors and stakeholders for business network development purposes
- Drafting application letters and invites
- Co-ordinating and administrating contact databases
- Establishing contact with external organisations, verbally and in writing
- Assisting with the operations and logistics of public and private events
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Post-event activities such as following up with attendees and media management for marketing purposes
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a confident telephone manner are essential to this role.
This placement is for an initial period of 1-3 months (dependent on start date), with the potential for an extension after this period.

Salary: Travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed up to £75 per week
