DIRECTOR - Stockholm International Peace Research Institute

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, SIPRI, is a leading international institute, with staff drawn from around the world, dedicated to independent research into conflict, security, armaments, arms control and disarmament. SIPRI consistently ranks as one of the world's top think tanks, based on the reliability of its data, analysis, consultations, and recommendations, all highly valued by policymakers, practitioners, experts and the media.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden and established in 1966, SIPRI has in recent years considerably expanded its staff, budget, and overseas presence while building a dynamic research and outreach agenda to illuminate and respond to the fast-changing international security order. SIPRI also has research staff based in Beijing and Washington, D.C., and well-established, on-the-ground partnerships and operational networks across the globe.

As the current director’s successful tenure draws to a close, SIPRI seeks a successor to lead this world-renown institute.
