Position Summary:

MSI is now accepting applications for our Financial Management Internship. The position is available immediately and will last until approximately August 31, 2012, with the possibility for extension based on performance, how well the candidate works with the team, and the needs of the department.

Responsibilities:

The position will require daily work with multiple excel budgets.

• Assist in building excel budget trackers;

• Adding tabs to existing budget trackers with linkages;

• Assist in math and formula checks on budget trackers;

• Provide additional support to the Department as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education in Mathematics, Finance and/or Accounting. Experience preferred;

• Required knowledge of Excel ‘97 - 2003. Experience with Excel ’97 – 2003’ preferred;

• Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Pro a plus;

• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environment;

• Team focused approach;

• Strong organizational skills.

Internships require a commitment of up to 32 hours per week. Applicants residing or attending school in the D.C. Metropolitan area are preferred. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. This is a paid position.
