Marketing Internship

MSI is now accepting applications for its Marketing Internship. The position is available immediately and will last until approximately August 31, 2012, with the possibility for extension based on performance, how well the candidate works with the team, and the team’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing proposal sections;

• Assistance with competitive analysis and strategic analysis;

• Assist with staff and consultant travel and invoice and expense report review/processing;

• Conduct research;

• Assist in training planning and support;

• Support the team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with MS Word and Excel required;

• Strong skills in writing and editing;

• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environment;

• Ability to meet deadlines;

• Excellent organizational skills;

• Additional skills of interest are secondary language skills – French, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic;

• Interest in marketing and/or international development preferred.

Internships require a commitment of up to 32 hours/week. Applicants residing or attending school in the D.C. Metropolitan area are preferred. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. This is a paid position.
