Job Description :

To take responsibility for managing AVG’s major Distributors and Resellers in a specific region. To develop and execute business plan and generate new business opportunities via phone calls. To be the main point of contact (calls) on a daily basis, establishing senior relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to the nominated Partners for all AVG Products and Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Manage and develop existing nominated accounts on a day to day basis (phone calls)
  • Expand AVG’s presence in the marketplace through effective sales activities
  • Build key strategic relationships with the owners or senior members of the Partner.
  • Understand the Partners business and target market and develop a joint Sales and Marketing plan to drive AVG product.
  • Work with the marketing team to optimize the customer offer
  • Initiate pricing and product questions from all accounts via Sales Support
  • Build a pipeline that is at least 3x your target
  • Meet the assigned targets monthly for both Licenses’ and revenue
  • Liaise with other AVG departments to gain and agree plans and proposals
  • Track and update all the Leads and contacts in SalesForce maintaining a computerized record of all customer contacts and conversations
Job Requirements :
  • 2+ years Account manager experience in IT
  • Partner experience gained either working at a Partner or working for a Vendor in a Partner role
  • Must be able to demonstrate good commercial awareness and an understanding of the AV market
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Internet, OS Windows)
  • Excellent verbal communication and written skills, confident and able to communicate clearly
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload efficiently
  • Self motivated with a desire to succeed
  • Self starter who can work under their own initiative
