Sales Operations Co-ordinator
Job purpose:
To provide an effective sales support function for new and existing customers in addition to acting as a key interface between Business Development, Sales Operations and Marketing.
Key to the role is providing an accurate and proactive service towards fulfilling order requests / requirements, integration of orders into internal AVG systems, processing of approved orders and provision of an after-care service.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Following up on leads from Sales to preparation of contracts through to implementation.
- Answering pricing and product questions from key accounts.
- Ensuring that all proposed and actual accounts are recorded and integrated onto internal AVG systems as appropriate and in a timely manner.
- Dealing with product changes and understanding how these may influence customer orders.
- Provision of a ‘quality’ service to the customer at all levels and maintaining responsibility for resolving any issues / discrepancies.
- Acting as a key interface between Business Development, Sales Operations and Marketing.
- Support the interlinking team members to enable Company revenue targets to be achieved.
- Creation and maintenance of task documentation.
- Provide ideas, feedback, process improvements and suggestions related to the role.
- Assist with projects.
- To develop relevant knowledge of the Company’s products and services and build on personal skills.
Job Requirements :
Person Specification
- Good basic standard of education, possibly up to ‘A’ level standard.
- Strong service mentality.
- Previous experience of order processing
- A good understanding of IT technology, software and computer security is desirable.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly, clear and concise manner.
- Clear thinking and problem-solving abilities are a must.
- Confident yet patient approach and able to work under own initiative.
- Ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects navigating between different applications.
- Well organised with an ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Flexible to be able to deal with and respond to changes.
- Be able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Results and KPI driven.
- Practical experience of using Microsoft applications.
