The Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR) are seeking an administrator for a fulltime position.

Job description:

  • Daily office management and administration;
  • In-house bookkeeping (Payments, Receipts, Bank Reconciliation, Monthly Reports);
  • Logistical arrangements and administrative support for events;
  • Recording of Board meeting minutes;
  • Occasional travel to London and Strasbourg.

The ideal candidate will have experience from similar type of work and is a proven self-­starter, able to work autonomously under minimum supervision. Fluency in spoken and written English is required with a working knowledge of French desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected and we would value knowledge of a bookkeeping program (ideally Sage Line 50), although it is not a prerequisite.

The Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR) is a confederation of centre-­right parties dedicated to personal freedom, parliamentary sovereignty, economic liberalism, the Atlantic Alliance and a Europe of Nations.

The AECR campaigns for radical reform of the EU and the spread of conservative values. It works alongside the ECR Group in the European Parliament, its associated national parties and the New Direction think-­tank to realise the goals set out in the Prague Declaration. Applicants are expected to share the basic values set out in the Prague declaration.
