Clinton Health Access Initiative Volunteers Fall 2012

Since 2002, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, CHAI (formerly the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative), has been assisting developing countries in implementing large-scale, integrated HIV care, treatment, and prevention programs. Our ultimate objectives are to make high-quality HIV/AIDS and malaria care and treatment available to all who need it, and to partner with governments and other stakeholders to strengthen healthcare systems and develop sustainable strategies to overcome obstacles to scale-up.

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is supported out of our Boston headquarters. CHAI headquarters staff are an experienced group of professionals, who work at a fast pace to handle a high volume of far-ranging assignments. HQ volunteers play an integral role in supporting our various administrative and programmatic departments. Each volunteer is truly needed - and appreciated.

We look for volunteers who are highly organized and detail oriented, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), have good written and oral communications skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. They should also be flexible and able to take initiative.

Familiarity with international public health, HIV/AIDS, malaria, and/or tuberculosis, or facility with financial modeling and strong analytical skills are desirable for research or analytical roles, but are not required for the majority of positions.

Applicants with accounting experience or IT experience are always needed!
