The ISEAL Alliance is recruiting for a new Executive Director to provide strategic and operational lead for its people, programmes and fundraising activities in order to help the organisation achieve its mission: to define good practices for standards systems, to distinguish and promote credible standards and to ensure that people understand the difference.

This is an exciting and decisive time for ISEAL following a successful first ten years which has seen our membership grow to include most of the leading social and environmental standard systems. We have recently embarked upon a strategic review and are looking for an exceptional individual who can meet the challenges of a new strategic direction for the organisation while building on the foundations which have been laid in its first decade.

For full details of the position including an overview of ISEAL and a person specification, please see the Terms of Reference.

The deadline for the initial application window will be 16 August 2012, noon (GMT). Please note that initial interviews are scheduled to be held on 21 September in Bonn, Germany. A second round of interviews for preferred candidates is likely to take place in early October. Candidates will be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses.

The recruitment process will be handled by a recruitment committee made up of ISEAL board members. Please note that all applications will be handled in strictest confidence.
