A part time fixed term position as a Human Resources Assistant (LEIV) in the Corporate Services Benelux office in Brussels has become available.

The working hours for this position are 29 hours per week and the working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate in line with business need.

LEIV Human Resources Assistant

This challenging and varied role requires a significant degree of organisational skills, team working and confidentiality. The HR Administrator will provide support to a team of one HR Manager and two HR Officers dealing with locally engaged staff, as well as the Protocol Officer and Community Liaison Officer, who deal with UK-based staff.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Provide administrative support to recruitment processes;
  • Provide administrative support for the annual performance management and appraisal process;
  • Provide administrative support on registration processes for UK-based staff;
  • Maintaining electronic databases, bring forward and filing systems;
  • General administrative tasks including filing, photocopying and streamlining files;
  • Undertake any other administrative duties as and when required to support the HR Team.

Essential Skills

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR;
  • Fluent written and spoken English;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Display accuracy, a methodical approach and attention to detail;
  • Well developed interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Ability to work effectively within a team;
  • Good level of MS Word and Excel skills;
  • An ability to organise own workload and work flexibly.

Highly Desirable

  • Fluent command of oral and written French would be highly advantageous and knowledge of Dutch would also be beneficial;
  • Experience of maintaining electronic databases.

Taxable Gross monthly salary: €1670.69.
