Nokia's Location & Commerce team is building a set of APIs and tools that will "where enable" a new class of applications and services on both mobile and web. The API Platform is the delivery vehicle for those APIs, and their path to the end user.
We are looking for an Architect/Product Manager to define the next generation of the API Platform, its components, and ensure that it is serving the needs of Nokia's Map Platform in enabling intuitive access to our APIs for developers, partners, and 3rd party users going forward.
In this role you will be responsible for driving the conceptual development and implementation of the API Platform, including our OAuth-based security modules, the developer registration database, and interfaces for API metrics and analytics. You will interact with external suppliers where needed, in order to evaluate 3rd party solutions.
You will work closely with internal services and engineering teams, as well as the head of developer services, to ensure you have a clear understanding of needs.

Qualifications
Requirements :
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of :
API Security (OAuth, shared keys, etc.)
Running an API-based business on a global scale, including the industry/competitor environment, as well as sufficient technical understanding of the inner workings of the platform.
Java-based backend architecture.
Apache based server software.
You should have :
MS in a technical field
Minimum 2 years experience in strategy, business development, or product management.
Well-rounded knowledge of analytics platforms, distributed computing technologies
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to navigate complex environments and get things done.
