(Senior) Tech & Experience Compliance Manager

We are seeking several (Senior) Tech & Experience Compliance Managers in Nokia Mobile Phones FPD in Beijing. You will be responsible for unified interface in FPD to other Nokia functions upon standardization, legal & regulatory requirements, operator & open market requirements and performance requirements for targeted ecosystem.

You will work with some of the latest mobile technologies on the market and join a highly motivated team to ensure product sell-in compliance for S30/S40 products.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise:

  • Acting as FPD central interface to other Nokia functions upon product sell-in compliance requirements, including standardization, legal & regulatory requirements, operator & open market requirements and performance requirements for targeted ecosystems
  • Filtering and pulling in FPD strategy & direction to proactively influence new product sell-in compliance requirement settings and renewal
  • Working closely with SW, HW & program teams to provide prompt FPD feedback to other Nokia functions upon new product sell-in compliance requirement studies
  • Prioritizing and driving the key product sell-in compliance requirements to FPD backlog & implementation plan through the organization
  • Communicating & giving feedback to other Nokia functions about FPD compatibility & development plans for any new product sell-in compliance requirements
  • Contributing to Nokia retention & customer relationships

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has strong experience in operator technology departments or standardization development areas and a degree in Engineering or similar (Masters degree preferred). We expect a recognized professional with the following attributes:

  • Courage and will to develop in this direction
  • 5+ years proven track record in standardization or operator requirement development domains in complex, global organizations and diverse business environment
  • Experience in and understanding of mobile and internet consumer experiences and value chains
  • Ability to learn new upcoming technologies and go outside of the comfort zone
  • Good presentation creation, networking and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence others and drive new ideas forward in a large organization
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Natural openness to new ideas
  • Strong analytical ability to master cutting through to the heart of a situation and ensuring the right results in time
  • Independent way of working and believe that an open, honest dialogue ensures the best results
