WWF CARPO, Regional People & Organization Development Director
Location:
WWF Central Africa Regional Programme Office (CARPO), Yaoundé, Cameroon
Main responsibilities:
- Ensuring the adherence to network standards and policies for Human Resources and best practice in Human Resource Management.
- Ensuring that CARPO attracts, develops and retains high caliber staff with the right competencies and values.
- Ensuring that CARPO’s organizational structure and capacity are fit to deliver its regional strategy
- Supporting the Regional Representative and his/her team – including Country Directors and HR staff - in matters concerning people and HR related risk management.
What you need:
Required Qualifications - Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Law or a combination of relevant experience
- Over 10 years working experience in a senior Human Resources and Operations position preferably in a major international organisation/NGO.
- experience of working across multiple countries in Africa, particularly those with francophone labor law
- ability to promote team synergy in a multi-cultural work environment,
- integrity, customer orientation
- analytical thinking, problem solving, communication/negotiation/listening, flexibility, team spirit, organisational skills, change management, effectiveness, strategic thinking, reliability.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- fluency in French and English
