Junior/Regulatory Affairs Manager FoodDrinkEurope
FoodDrinkEurope is looking for a Junior/Regulatory Affairs Manager with a proven track record of developing good relationships within the EU institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up regulatory developments in the food law field that are likely to affect the industry and inform FoodDrinkEurope members accordingly;
- Manage aspects of technical regulations and cooperate with FoodDrinkEurope members to defend food safety dossiers in key areas such as; food safety management, international standards and contaminants etc.;
- Prepare FoodDrinkEurope technical committee meetings which bring together technicians/regulatory affairs professionals from the membership. Responsibility for writing the meeting minutes;
- Maintain close contacts with FoodDrinkEurope’s members so as to ensure a good understanding of their interests.
Profile:
- Scientific degree, preferably in Agricultural Science, Biology or Chemistry. However, a candidate with a non-scientific background but with considerable experience in scientific affairs in the agrifood industry could also be accepted;
- Knowledge of the food and drink industry is necessary;
- Good networking skills;
- Flexibility to work in a small team and to perform other duties as necessary;
- Fluency in English (equivalent to mother tongue) and one other European language.
