The School of Engineering & Built Environment wishes to appoint Lecturers to join the Department of Computer, Communications and Interactive Systems. The Department brings together an exciting blend of skills in the development and application of 21st century electronic technologies and is seeking research engineers and advanced practitioners with priority given to the following disciplines:

  • Diagnostic Systems for Remote Condition and Performance Monitoring;
  • Intelligent Image and Signal Processing for Information and Sensor Data Fusion;
  • Advanced Wireless Networks for Remote Sensing and IP based Multimedia Broadcasting;
  • 3D, VR and Augmented Reality systems for complex data interaction and Nextgen Computer Gaming.

Applicants should hold a PhD in an area relevant to the particular post or substantial relevant industrial experience in a technical role. Experience of applied research, and a strong personal desire and commitment to engage in both teaching and research are essential. We also welcome applications from Professionals who are able to make a significant contribution to the development of Programme Development, CPD/ knowledge Transfer or Research.
